Synopsis

When her excitable, social-climbing cousin Vasti calls to say there's trouble in Byerly, new mum Laura Fleming is tempted to say she's off-duty. But it's not Vasti who needs help, it's Aunt Maggie - or rather, Maggie's new husband, Big Bill Walters. The news that someone is trying to kill the old coot is enough to send Laura and her Yankee husband, Richard, packing.
