Deborah Shlian and Linda Reid are also authors of Dead Air, which won top honors in the Thriller category of the National Indie Excellence 2010 Awards. Shlian is a physician who has practiced Family Medicine for over 10 years then returned to UCLA to earn a MBA degree. He balances medical management consulting with writing.
