About the Authors
Married for 33 years, Rayburn and Rose Ann Ray write out of extensive research and a rich background as counselors, writers and parents. (Their daughter, Jennifer, and son, Daniel, were both recently married.) A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mrs. Ray was formerly a field director for Camp Fire Girls and a youth director for the Y. W. C. A. Mr. Ray, a graduate of the University of Alabama and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, was a pastor for 13 years before entering government public relations. An active photojournalist, his work has appeared in many national publications. The Rays now live in Nashville, Tennessee.
