The popular mystery from New York Times bestselling author Don Winslow—now available as an ebook

Book five of the Neal Carey mystery series: Babysitting an eighty-year-old comedian who acts like an eight-year-old is trying enough, but when the bullets start flying, PI Neal Carey wonders if maybe it’s time to explore new career opportunities
In the final entry of Don Winslow’s Neal Carey series, the PI must escort Natty Silver, an ancient legend of the Borscht Belt comedy circuit, from Las Vegas to Palm Springs. Once again a seemingly easy job turns deadly complicated. When Silver isn’t busy stealing Carey’s car and making off on his own, he’s telling hilarious stories from the golden age of the stage. Silver has quite a past, and riding shotgun with the comedian makes for a road trip that just wont end: Extortionists, old flames, and actual arsonists are all out to burn the old man, with Carey caught in the middle. This ebook features an illustrated biography of Don Winslow, including rare photos from the author’s personal collection.

But Graham doesn't tell Neal that Silverstein is really aging vaudevillian Natty Silver, whose nonstop patter will drive Neal crazy, and he doesn't tell him that Natty hotfooted it out of Palm Springs after witnessing an arson fire whose perps are now hot on his trail.
