Wild first aid is a combination of using knowledge about an injury or illness and an understanding of specific properties of plants to stabilize or heal those conditions.
Sometimes it is using a plant to first clean a wound and possibly using the same or a different plant to cover that wound and to heal it. Other times it is using a plant or part of a plant to be used as a poultice, an internal medicine or other methods required in the healing process.
Bottom line is, we are using products right from the wild to use as first aid supplies.
Those with an interest in wild first aid or traditional medicine who want to expand their knowledge about the use of plants or just learn more interesting facts about plants will greatly benefit. It is also for those who have a keen interest in plants in general, as well as those who want to learn more about nature and the wild.
