"Ultimately, little actually happens in Wingblade, with missions teased but never fully executed. This, along with the other issues noted, make this a disappointing read overall."

Synopsis

Every ten thousand years a very special creature is born in each continent. These creatures exist purely to keep the balance between all things on this earth--be it mankind, animals, or nature itself. They are here to ensure the natural balance between all things. This particular story is about Kyle. He is the average, normal child until he hits the tender age of thirteen, and then he transitions into adulthood. During his growth spurt right before he turns thirteen, he must train and prepare himself for the drastic change set to come in his life. He must come to terms and be at peace with who he is destined to become and take on the training that will prepare him for the battles that come with this great responsibility he has been chosen to carry.
