This is a short Story, Not a novel. History and legend combine to create an action, horror tale unlike any other. The church has heard tales from trappers and Jesuits returning from the New World about a tribe of Loup Garou, wolf-men, skinwalkers. Disturbed that these creatures of Satan might exist, the enlist the aid of one of Europe's finest wolf killers, Jacob. He agrees to voyage to New France and exterminate the creatures. What he finds when he gets there is not what he expected.

This exciting and action packed tale is woven with experiences and settings you rarely get in a historic novel or horror story. The story is expertly built giving the reader a little more and a little more right until the thrill ride ending. Mikel B. Classen continues to provide a great tale mixed with excellence in writing.
