Synopsis

The FBI crosses paths with the body trail of a folkloric creature terrorizing Oregon's countryside. The darkness mankind must face comes from an age-old evil born of the woods: the tormented beast that walks upright on two legs and hunts down those it perhaps loves.

Rogue Special Agent Daryl Murphy will stop at nothing to have his revenge after his rookie partner, Charlie Avers, is killed by crime kingpin Jonas Rappafor. But Daryl's relentless manhunt takes an unexpected turn when he rescues Phil Chadway, a handsome, likable teenage woodsman, during a deadly showdown at a mill and stumbles across a horror beyond imagination. Phil has a human bite mark on his buff torso that throbs and bleeds, which drives him to ask Daryl for a special favor too barbaric for reason.

Hood Forest Park Manager Uan Forrick and his conservationist fiancée, Karin Ingram, are tracking a killer beast that lurks in the North Woods. Apparently, this fiend not only devours but ravishes its prey. Deanne Sommers is very afraid because her park ranger boyfriend is acting strange and might be cheating on her. Little does Deanne suspect what Albert's sex problem is. Chief Deputy Jon Riggert wants to serve and protect the good citizens of Port Endrede, but can he protect them, and especially Phil, from a cruel world gone wrong?

This title concerns the true nature of werewolfism: the shocking link between humanity and a miscreation so real it haunts our very nature.
