NYPD detective Jacob Kanon is on a tour of Europe's most gorgeous cities. But the sights aren't what draw him - he sees each museum, each cathedral, and each café through the eyes of his daughter's' killer. Kanon's daughter and her boyfriend were murdered while on vacation in Rome. Since then, young couples in Paris, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, and Stockholm have been found dead. Little connects the murders, other than a postcard to the local newspaper that... more

He can write enjoyable thrillers, but when it comes to romance, and to a certain extent, characters… well, the results are not as good...
Full ReviewNo unneeded details or descriptions, vivid descriptions bring mental pictures to mind that make you shudder, characters that are complicated with simple words...
Full ReviewI thoroughly enjoyed reading their book. The Postcard Killers was quite the page-turner...
Full ReviewI think this book is by far the best book written by James Patterson.
Full Review...killers and Jacob aren't very likeable and Dessie, despite being a bicycling, bisexual, vegetarian, with an unusual upbringing in the north of the country, is an uninvolving character.
Full ReviewUnfortunately for readers hoping that Marklund's input would add some of the depth and substance...Patterson's paint by numbers style filled with relatively thin characters clearly dominates the partnership here.
Full ReviewTHE POSTCARD KILLERS is a fun read, full of sex, violence, puzzles and more exotic places than you will probably ever visit in person.
Full ReviewBut it is actually a great crime fiction novel...solid, fast-paced, with some smart twists and turns, and quite suspenseful.
Full Review...has the elements to be a great story; the plot was good but I could have done without the art lessons...further along the story kind of dragged and became repetitive.
Full ReviewThe Postcard Killers is good escapist entertainment.
Full ReviewJust when you think he has pulled out all the stops and can’t shock you anymore than he already has, BAM!
Full Review...it was very well written and the plot was original, engaging, and quite possibly plausible given the deranged person has the tendency to kill tourists.
Full Review...a quick, easy read and kept me guessing as to what would happen next.
Full ReviewBecause he writes from the killer’s point of view, I know who the killer is. For some reason, that keeps me drawn into the plot of the book.
Full ReviewDon’t look for deep characterisation or psychological insight.
Full ReviewIt has all the twists and turns you expect and they keep you on the edge of your seat till the end.
Full ReviewThe killers are known to the reader right from the beginning, but this story is not that simple and there were still many twists and turns along the way.
Full Review... I would like to see Mr.Patterson write books in his own style rather than team up with all these other authors.
Full ReviewIt is written well and it held my interest throughout.
Full Review...so predictable. I've had such high expectations for each of his books and I've been let down with each one.
Full Review...these two authors put together a fast paced, well-written chase through Europe filled with intriguing characters and alluring locales.
Full Review...this book will keep you thoroughly engaged, alert and awake. Be aware, though, it may also alter your dreams since the subject matter is violent and the descriptions are often bizarre.
Full ReviewIt will charge you up like a double-shot Starbucks expresso drink, making you excited and wanting more.
Full Review...it was incredibly predictable....a little bit formulaic in spots.
Full ReviewI wanted to love The Postcard Killers, yet as the story ambled on, I grew less interested and plain annoyed.
Full ReviewThe international settings and the controversial biography of the villains add an interesting dimension to the straightforward plot.
Full ReviewThe story line is a very familiar Patterson theme, sex and murder. This one was just "meh" for me.
Full ReviewI had to know how it would end, and I have to say I was shocked by the ending.
