Ward returns to the world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood for her ninth novel—and third hardcover—in the phenomenal series.Tohrment, the Brother who had it all, but lost everything to the enemy, is destined for a second chance at love and life. But will the past and his bitterness hold him back?
I didn't think I'd like No'One as much as I did, and she complements Tohr's scars well.
Full ReviewThe ploys for future stories were obvious and unlike a couple of twists to the Tohr and No’One storyline, were predictable which lessened their emotional impact.
Full Review... a book that was worth waiting for... a great comeback for the series, the characters we love are back... and the enthralling stories and worldbuilding that made me fall in love with the series.
Full ReviewLover Reborn was well worth losing a couple of nights of sleep to read.
Full Review...a lot of the time I was a bit irritated reading this story as there were so many other stories playing a part.
Full Review...one of the best books I’ve read this year.... a world I dive into with a sense of headiness and anticipation, one I stay in because the pull is so magnetic, and one I always leave with great regret.
Full ReviewThere's not a single thing about this book that I would have changed. I loved every minute of reading Lover Reborn.
Full ReviewThe story was on the long side for me, and there was so much going on that it could get a little confusing at times.
Full ReviewEverything about this book felt new and original.
Full ReviewGo and buy it. Now. Get tissues; prepare to cry, to be mad, and to be totally conflicted. You will love it and it will be your new favourite book…until you read the next instalment at least.
Full ReviewWhile it wasn’t the romantic read I was hoping and waiting for, overall that didn’t really effect my reading enjoyment – as stated previously all the BDB books are an addictive, guilty pleasure and Lover Reborn was another good fix.
Full ReviewThere is so much more to this story without being convoluted.
Full ReviewThis was a good book, JR Ward’s writing and her flair for the dramatic, snark and OMG sexy alpha males is always worth reading.
Full ReviewAll in all I was very impressed with Lover Reborn.
Full ReviewIf you have not picked up this series I suggest you do, hands down this is my favorite series.
Full ReviewI struggled to finish this book and, I confess, I felt relief when it was over.
Full ReviewTheir short and sweet scene did me in… I was a complete mess.
Full ReviewI loved reading about the Fade ceremony, it was interesting and new to me, I think...I don't remember reading one before.
Full ReviewLover Reborn is emotion rich, it will have you crying as you remember Wellsie and laughing when Lassiter snarks.
Full ReviewOverall, this is still an amazing series. Ward is a genius PNR writer. She knows what we love and she delivers with every page.
Full ReviewIt's definitely not an easy road and it's one filled with starts and stops. (And I felt it drag occasionally, especially early on.)
Full ReviewThis was a AWESOME addition to the BDB world and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Full ReviewWhile I think some won’t be totally satisfied with Wellsie, it worked for me. And Tohr could not have been more sexy.
Full ReviewLover Reborn is a real mixed bag, with some good forward movement of the plot, some pointless and boring stuff (anything Xhex), and some interesting set-up for the future (Xcor & Co.)
Full ReviewWhile this wasn't one of my favorites of the series I did enjoy it. I just felt that some parts were too long and some parts not long enough.
Full ReviewAll and all Lover Reborn is a very good read and the base of the story, which is Tohr and No'One getting pass their demons and getting together is what makes you enjoy it so much.
Full ReviewOverall, Lover Reborn was well worth losing a couple of nights of sleep to read.
Full ReviewThere were things about Lover Reborn that drove me crazy. There were too many characters, points of view, and story lines to keep track of.
Full ReviewSo overall, it was a good book in the series, but not one I will revisit for a re-read.
Full ReviewGreat addition to the series and as always, I cannot wait for the next one!
Full ReviewMy advice to readers is to do what they’ve been doing along: love the bits that are angsty and awesome and ignore the bits that aren’t.
Full ReviewLover Reborn is jam packed with action, romance, drama, and a few twists and turns that will blow you away.
Full ReviewI can’t say how often I’ve already mentioned it that I LOVE this series by Ward, as well as this book and I’m sure I’ll say this much more often in the future.
Full ReviewAlso, I am just going to say it—too much John/Xhex. They are my least favorite couple so when approximately 1/3 of the book was them….yeah I wasn’t happy.
Full ReviewI highly recommend Lover Reborn and can't wait for the next installment.
Full ReviewIf I have learned anything from Lover Reborn, it is to have faith in the WARDen – she most definitely has a master plan.
