Fortunately, I can report Bleed For Me is red hot. It’s damnably dark in some of its content and devilishly clever in how it works out. Although there’s a slightly contrived element in how people know each other or link up, this is a genuinely exciting read. Perhaps as much thriller as mystery, I unreservedly recommend it as edgy fiction.
...Say You’re Sorry is a harrowing, complex tale of triumph over evil. Mr. Robotham masterfully keeps the fear real and close to the bone, compelling to the very last page. Great winter reading.
For whatever else you may be thinking about this gangland thriller, it’s really a Forest Gump style of fairy story in which innocence prevails amongst the carnage. Bombproof is a delight!
Robotham’s writing remains solid. His latest, while not his best, will convert new readers and make his fans happy.
He offers memorable characters caught up in an irresistible story. But the Aussie writer’s choice of Texas as his setting is bound to ruffle some feathers...
